[SEL] semi - ot lock washer questions for engineers

Grade of the lock washer, too, has a lot to do with effectiveness.  I 
have3 seen them "bite", as Tommy says below.  But then, much of what you 
get today is JUNK if bought as common stuff, and lock washers often 
simply squeeze out long before they do any good at all.
