I would say you're right Curt, the zig zag is much simplier and I'm 
sure, less costly to produce.  I'm not sure the year on mine, I 'll have 
to check the SN to see, I think its about an '09 or '10 though.  Another 
thing unusual about it is that it has the flatbar webster mag.  I think 
these were only put on the earlier models ('05, '06).  This was probably 
added to the engine as I also received an ignitor when I purchased the 
engine many years ago (about '77 I think).  The mag is in almost NOS 
condition, better than the rest of the engine.
