[SEL] Is this engine hit/miss or throttler?

Bill,
The early IHC hit and miss and throttler engines both used overflow
bowl carbs. But, they are different. The shape of the carb overflow
bowl and its location gives away the identity of this engine as a hit
and miss. If you look at the photo below, you can see the bowl and
elbow of the hit and miss carb. The needle valve can be seen above the
elbow.
