Dear List,
Hello, I've been semi- lurking for the past year or two lately, my collection has been slowly growing, but sitting idle. I haven't had the time or ambition to work on engines lately; I guess thats what happens when a young man begins to grow up, too many distractions! Since the snow has started to part up here in NY, I figure it would be a good time to put the snowmobiles away and get out some old iron once again. Other than thatI have just been working on my family's house.
I have a 6hp Worthington and a 4hp Myrick (early style) that need attention, so I think it is time I started working on my engines. One of my biggest concerns with the Worthington is paint. Particulary the pinstriping end of the spectrum. Does anyone have any tips for striping an engine?
Also, I have a Novo S model (a 4hp if I recall correctly) that needs the mixer assembly. Would anyone happen to have such a mixer laying out in their shed that they would be willing to part with? I have been in search of one for 2 years now, I missed out on a mixer on eBay, and at one point I couldn't justify paying more for the mixer than what I purchased the engine for. Thanks!
Sincerely,
Tommy Stojanov
