[SEL] What was your best engine trip?

Hi George,

There have been some great posts on this. There are also some of us that
can't tell much of a story. I've only been involved in this hobby for
about a year and a half. My only out of town trip was to Bird City, KS
last summer, and it is my best. Huge steam tractors, stationary engines,
great food and people. I had a ball, and look forward to many more.

I have a limited amount of vacation time, so it will take me years to
have a lot to tell. Maybe one day I will have a seven day weekend, and
can traverse this great land in search of engines and all things
related. For now I enjoy what little I can take in. I have an antique
walk behind tractor waiting patiently in KS right now. I hope that
trip provides me with a few extras in the back of the truck when I
return. I'll damn sure share if I come across anything.

For those that lurk I'll offer some advice. We DON'T BITE, we only flame
now and then. Jump in and participate. Opinions are like what you can
tell some to pack sand in, and we all have one.
