I don't know if this is of any help, but the gas torch people Sievert
used to sell their gas torch nozzles in kits, with detachable burners,
each of which had its own jet and mixer tube. Getting the
appropriately sized one for this job might be as easy as making one up
from scratch and experimenting.

I know that we have a couple of burner tubes here that are about 4"
long and 1-1/4" diameter for high rate propane burning.

The other people to ask are the hot air balloonists, they use BIG
propane burners.

Remain incombustible....
