Very nice unit - I'd love to have one.
In any case - I know that Blow Torches have a wick in them even though
they work on pressure.  The 2 I have have a wire supporting the wick.

Is it possible there might be a wick in this tube ???
You might be dealing with something other than "dried gunk".
Just a thought.
