Hi Chuck, The manchester science Museum manages to run
steam engines that size slowly on steam generated in a small enclosure
outside the museum.
It must be some form of electric instant steam generator
I will ask next time I visit. See http://www.msim.org.uk/
This Museum is well worth a visit to any visitors to the NW.
