Hi Rick,

That's a pretty useful looking tip!  I think I need one!

As to using it on a drilled gib key, personally I wouldn't do it.
The cutting torch wouldn't bother the cast iron hub of the flywheel, but I
think there would be a really high probability of flame-gouging the keyway
in the crankshaft.
