"Insulated earth return" is used almost exclusively on road tankers
over here, although there is a slow movement towards wider acceptance
on trucks generally.

We run an earth conductor separately, most 7-core trailer wire has a
larger earth core than the rest, but otherwise the standard one has to
do.
