[SEL] Truck Tongue metal end.

What Marv has shown is correct. What it is , is a piece of say, 3/16" X 1" steel bend to fit over the dia. of the tounge and extending an inch or so out past the end of the tounge. On the under side the steel is bent down, say 3" or so from the front end, back straight, up, then straight again. This creates a bump or stop for the ring so the tounge can't slide through. Bolts are added from the top through the steel, both top and bottom behind the bump you added. None on front of the bump because the ring rides in this area. 
Clear as MUD ????
