Jeff,

	I would bet that they probably built them under some sort of licensing 
arrangement with a "parent" company.  Field Brundage or another company 
may have owned the design/patent rights but allowed Sattley to build 
them under some sort of contract.  I think this arrangement happened 
more than most of us think as there are so many engines out there that 
are almost identical..... but not quite.
