Hi Rich,

You can buy a gasket kit through - Hit & Miss - Starbolt - Etc.

There are about 4 cork gaskets and 3 felt gaskets.

Problem : I've had mine apart many times. Thing is - I can't seem to
get it sealed up
tight and the engine always leaks and throws oil from the cover. The
last time I put in new gaskets, I RTV'd one side of the gaskets as to
"glue" them to the base. I allowed the gaskets to stay "dry" on the
cover side so I could remove the cover without destroying the seal.

It worked to some satisfaction. I still get a leak where the cork & felt
meet each other in the corners.

The cork is used on flat surfaces. The felt is used around the front
section and over the top of the crank bearing caps.

Make sure you have an "oil splasher" on the lower bolt of the connecting
rod bearing.
It's only about 3/4" long.
Make sure your breather is clear on top of the cover.
There is a lot of oil activity going on inside the cover.

I love the Stover - It is a beautiful running engine - Runs fairly fast.
But sort of embarrassing at a show to see all that oil running down the
sides and on to the skids.

Good Luck
