[SEL] Sort of OT: Odd iron on building

I've seen that quite a bit on larger buildings - and one fellow told me it
was because there were fewer vertical seams which are harder to keep the
weather out of.
Horizontal seams are better/easier to keep the rain out of so more of them
is less of an issue.
At least that was his explanation.

Strength could be a factor (just guessing) as the sheets tie more uprights
together laid as they are. Again, that one is simply a guess.

Could be there was no reason, just the preference of the person putting it
up!
