Hi Rick,

Thanks for this update!!! It really has been an AMAZING project so far!

I remember vividly nearly ten years ago when you first posted to the list
about the discovery of the Tod Engine and your request for help to save it
from becoming scrap iron. I also VIVIDLY remember meeting for the first
time this skinny kid covered in Tod Engine grease as he articulated his
vision for saving and restoring this 600,000 pound monster with all
volunteer help. And the really cool thing is that you NEVER lost your
vision!!! I'm incredibly proud to have been a part of it and continue to
be amazed at what you accomplish with next to no funding and amazing will.

BTW here's a good pic of the "skinny kid" with the "discovery." 8-))

For those of you who are less familiar with the project, take a look at
the web site (and order the CD!!). http://www.todengine.org/

I would also STRONGLY encourage volunteering to help. Cleaning and
painting always goes faster with more hands. And this beast is BIG so
there's room to work without getting in someone's way. 8-))

Thanks again for the update!! I can't wait till the time that she rolls
over again!!!!

See ya, Arnie
