And the "need" for such insurance is because of the lawyers following
ambulances around telling people they should sue for all they can.
Of course the insurance industry doesn't mind the business, either........

Thanks, but that didn't answer my question.  Is the $10 mill. insurance
cover required for EVERYTHING?  A church tea & crumpet social for example;
or is just old engine rallys?  And with regard to auto insurance, my
question was not is it required, but is the minimum at the $10 mill. level,
more, less?  What I find so incredibly shocking is the disparity between
risk and coverage.  I think you lot have allowed the insurance lobby to do
to Oz what the trial lawyer lobby has done to the US.
