[SEL] Need Stover Help!

Hello Lyndsay,

You are right Lyndsay, this rocker arm came off of a horizontal engine, well
not really this one, but the original one that this was cast from came off
of a horizontal engine and this probably accounts for the slight difference
in the arms.

The fuel saver arm has a torsion spring on it that is suppose to move the
fuel saver arm over and under the intake valve keeper when the exhaust valve
is depressed thus locking out the intake valve during the exhaust stroke.
The pictures may be deceiving but as the rocker arm goes down it actually
allows for the fuel saver arm to advance forward under the Intake Valve
Keeper. The design of the rocker arm, with the actuating finger hanging down
from it, is such that as the rocker arm comes up it actually pushes the arm
away from the intake valve, as it goes down the spring drives the arm
towards the Intake valve.

Do you have any pictures of your friends YB fuel saver arm or your other
friend's type C horizontal fuel saver arm? I would love to see them.
