I see Alec...yea, think I'd stay with the older ones also.  Was not 
impressed with Harbor Freights'...1 ton (?).

They are cheaper than working ones and its for decorative purposes, you know 
, "decor"
sorta like having a nice looking cady in the yard , looks good but doesnt 
work!!!!!!
 Unless the casing is broke , they are not hard to fix .
My dad found a 1ton one this week for 10 bucks, he liked it better than the 
one he has used at his house since 1969.Its a big mistake to change 
something that worked so well for so long, but I ended up buying his old one 
for 50 and that is fine by me. Still would like to find a couple more, they 
are getting very hard to find, a good working one, you know like a good 
maytag, hard to find.
