Sweet Bob,

Have you checked for gas?  My 5 hp Economy would not start one time and I 
checked a lot of things before finally discovering that the gas had gone bad.  
Put in new gas and fired right up.  You might try some ether thru the priming 
cup and see if it will fire. There are lots of parts people in GEM that sell 
ignitor parts to rebuild if you need them.  How about timing, valve setting, 
compression, etc.?  Just some things to ponder!
