I'm in California looking into flood insurance. The term 'river crossing'
now means the river is crossing the highway.

I shouldn't complain, I have a rental in Sacramento that now has a pool, or
natural pond, in the back yard.

PS: If you want to see what Mother Nature can do, look up the California
flood of 1862. Washington, Oregon, California, Nevada, Arizona, Idaho and
other states were all inundated. Indian lore says the entire center of the
state floods on occasion.
