[SEL] JD 1 1/2 E mag & timing issues udate

Ok guys the mag was taken off again and recharged. Seems to be giving off a good spark but wondering if anyone knows what the voltage should be when turning over?
After getting some information from some of the boys at the Baraboo show about making sure that the push button pin will engage to help in timing the gears.  Not
sure what they are talking about as their engines were assembled and running.  Any good suggestions would be appreciated to help me get the old girl running again?
