Hello all,

I have just finished restoring  a Ransomes MG 5 Tractor made 1951, it is fitted with a 600 cc Ransomes air cooled petrol engine and 1 speed forward & reverse gearbox.
The main problems were oil leaks and not idling under 1000 rpm, relaced all seals and gaskets refitted timing chain correctly and it now idles about 500 rpm, it needs to idle slow as it has centrifugal clutch to drive gear box.
