I am so tired of work boots that don't last. These are only a little over a year-old. These are Timberlands, and came with great reviews on the Internet and the recommendation from a friend. However I'm very disappointed in them and in fact been disappointed in my last two or three. The last boot that did well for me was actually a Vasque hiking boot, and lasted for years. But they don't make that kind anymore. I figure if anyone in the world knows about work boots it's the folks on ATIS. Can anyone recommend one for me? One that lasts more than one season on the farm? It has been a long time since I have found any older engines, the last being last fall when I brought home McCormic Deering 1 1/2 (not the suitcase, the larger with two flywheels. I have been watching the junk pile that appears at our weekly local auction house and have salvaged three or four older Briggs and a Tecumseh. They come attached to lawn mowers, or, in the case of the Tecumseh, an older Troybilt garden tiller. I hate to see them go to the scrappers and I'll have some fun making them run. The Briggs are 5S, 3 with rope start and a Model B with geared crankstart. The Troybilt is the Tecumseh Model HH60 which is, I think, the original engine. I have been finding parts such as ignition points, carbs, etc on eBay. (See: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sDQSL_xml1E) The advice that I received from many concerning a new lawn tractor sure helped and was/is really appreciated! It's GREAT to be able to ask friends who know something about the subject a question, and it makes the decision making process much easier! Dave PS, The tractor will be delivered on Thursday! ------------------------------ _______________________________________________ SEL mailing list SEL at lists.stationary-engine.com http://www.stationary-engine.com/mailman/listinfo/sel End of SEL Digest, Vol 134, Issue 4 *********************************** From mls477 at ntelos.net Thu May 7 12:26:23 2015 From: mls477 at ntelos.net (Mark L Shattuck) Date: Thu, 07 May 2015 15:26:23 -0400 Subject: [SEL] =?windows-1252?q?Spam=3E_Re=3A__Test?= In-Reply-To: <33425ECB-5C0C-4824-8E3D-ADA819C11716@yahoo.com> References: <33425ECB-5C0C-4824-8E3D-ADA819C11716@yahoo.com> Message-ID: <554BBC5F.1080108@ntelos.net> Test Post Rejected From Server > Server Is Treating All Posts To List As Spam Micro- Trend Reports On 5/6/2015 8:46 PM, Jim Yost wrote: > Can't seem to post anything. > > Sent from my iPhone > Jim > _______________________________________________ > SEL mailing list > SEL at lists.stationary-engine.com > http://www.stationary-engine.com/mailman/listinfo/sel > > > From enginepaul at gmail.com Thu May 7 13:38:26 2015 From: enginepaul at gmail.com (STRAIGHT from SanFran) Date: Thu, 7 May 2015 13:38:26 -0700 Subject: [SEL] =?utf-8?q?Spam=3E_Re=3A__Test?= In-Reply-To: <33425ECB-5C0C-4824-8E3D-ADA819C11716@yahoo.com> References: <33425ECB-5C0C-4824-8E3D-ADA819C11716@yahoo.com> Message-ID: Yes you can On Wed, May 6, 2015 at 5:46 PM, Jim Yost wrote: > Can't seem to post anything. > > Sent from my iPhone > Jim > _______________________________________________ > SEL mailing list > SEL at lists.stationary-engine.com > http://www.stationary-engine.com/mailman/listinfo/sel > From enginepaul at gmail.com Thu May 7 13:38:09 2015 From: enginepaul at gmail.com (STRAIGHT from SanFran) Date: Thu, 7 May 2015 13:38:09 -0700 Subject: [SEL] Spam> Re: Test In-Reply-To: <554BBC5F.1080108@ntelos.net> References: <33425ECB-5C0C-4824-8E3D-ADA819C11716@yahoo.com> <554BBC5F.1080108@ntelos.net> Message-ID: It went through this time On Thu, May 7, 2015 at 12:26 PM, Mark L Shattuck wrote: > Test Post Rejected From Server > Server Is Treating All Posts To List As > Spam Micro- Trend Reports > > On 5/6/2015 8:46 PM, Jim Yost wrote: > > Can't seem to post anything. > > > > Sent from my iPhone > > Jim > > _______________________________________________ > > SEL mailing list > > SEL at lists.stationary-engine.com > > http://www.stationary-engine.com/mailman/listinfo/sel > > > > > > > > _______________________________________________ > SEL mailing list > SEL at lists.stationary-engine.com > http://www.stationary-engine.com/mailman/listinfo/sel > From jnyost at yahoo.com Thu May 7 16:18:19 2015 From: jnyost at yahoo.com (Jim Yost) Date: Thu, 7 May 2015 19:18:19 -0400 Subject: [SEL] Spam> Re: Test In-Reply-To: References: <33425ECB-5C0C-4824-8E3D-ADA819C11716@yahoo.com> <554BBC5F.1080108@ntelos.net> Message-ID: I can't see it. ??
