[SEL] TOTALLY OT, but you NEED to see it!

Great video.  Why do we produce videos that have technical stuff like how our missiles are launched or is this common knowledge since it is over 20 years old.  I can remember the Popular Mechanics that had diagrams of our subs trying to shoot missiles the same way as torpedoes, the sub would be at nearly a 45 degree angle.  I had a model of the USS Eisenhower I believe that had the missile tubes the correct way.  Amazing that some of our best "known" technology is so old.  SR-71 etc.

And as a kid I use to always watch "the Silent Service" on TV.  shows I'm old.

The largest submarine in the US Navy.
An interesting video by National Geographic.

This video is pretty lengthy (28:38). So I thought I'd just watch a few
minutes of it. But I became fascinated and ended up watching the entire
thing!
