Mine has a 6 Volt starter and it charges a 32 Volt battery bank.
It is one of the later ones with the auto start.

Hi, Curt.
Jump start it with 3 12v batteries. You might want to disconnect the
existing battery bank as they will suck some of the current as they try to
recharge when given the 36 volts.
Sounds like the first thing is to figure out why the engine is hard to
start. I thought these units were all provided with a way to crank them
when the batteries were down?

Subject: [SEL] Delco Battery Charging Help
Does anyone know where I can buy a 32V battery charger? My local engine
club has the orginal bank of battries with a Delco engine which has starting
issues. The battery bank is not fully charged and we are going into winter
months. My thoughts are to charge up the battery bank so the engine can be
tested and run again. Any and all help is requested.
Thank you in advance,
Curt Andree
