Rick
I'm new here but my understanding of the oiler check ball is to stop the
bypass gases from entering the oiler and fouling the oil. If that is true a
perfect seal is not necessary as long as the ball moves freely.

Howdee gang;
   What's the best way to re-seat the checkball on a drip oiler?

Thanks much
