Correct!
There is no draw on the battery except for the moment the ignitor trips.
A big reason why the little battery can last so long.

Wouldn't last long at all if trying to power a buzz coil on a throttle governed engine!

An ignitor for a battery ignition is usually closed only at firing time. 
Magneto ignitors may be closed all of the time except when firing, this will make a sinificnt difference in battery draw.
