The 3hp Gade in the photos is mine and was my 9v battery experiment during the show.
I ran the Gade non-stop for 8 hours on Saturday and non-stop for 9 hours on Sunday running on a disposable 9 volt battery.
I had previously run the engine 1.5 hours on the same battery and at the end of the show it still had 8 volts!

I'm sure that a little 9v battery is sufficient to run a hit&miss ignitor fired engine that is not working for several engine shows.
Especially if you don't run your engine non-stop like I was doing.

The red 4hp tank cooled Stover with the embossed cylinder is also my engine. It is a 1903 engine, while the two square push rod engines at the show are probably 1902.
The square pushrod engines do not have serial numbers or Stover tags and are most likely prototype engines that Stover tested at a ranch in Oregon. Both engines were found on the same ranch.
So I didn't have the oldest Stover at the show, but I did have the oldest one with a serial number (1887) and brass tag at the show.

Ron didn't include a photo of it, but I also had my 3hp tank cooled Stover W at the show. The tank cooled W engines where custom made by Stover and were all shipped to Australia. There are only about a dozen of these tank cooled engines in the Cooper registry. I had the engine shipped from Australia, so most likely it is the only one in North America.
