Thanks, I got the pdf and it is clearer than the one I downloaded from 
Deere.
I'm still wondering how to test the mag to find out if it is in fact "hot" 
as I was told it was and also identifying the timing mark on the mag gear. 
The marks on my engine are as plain as day but I'm not positive about what I 
am seeing on the mag gear.
