You bring up and interesting idea Mark.   If the spokes don't line up
then we could just twist the crankshaft so they would.....

Hi Rich,
  Not unusual for some misalignment of spokes. Just think,  in this 
case if the spokes line up then the key ways would not if the crank 
were twisted.  LOL.                 Mark
