George - the best way to go is with socket head capscrews as previously
mentioned or twelve point hex head capscrews which have a lot smaller head
than 6 point capscrews.  If the capscrews are 3/8" the socket for them in 12
point is 3/8 if memory serves me correctly. Use a good grade of socket.
