Hi Guys
The R&V show at Mount Pleasant is going to be a blast. Some nice engines rolling in.
Today we spent the day back in East Moline, Illinois at the original R&V factories. There were three R&V Knight and one Moline car there as well. We drove the cars into the original 1905 repair garage where we believe no R&V car has been for 86 years. Photos will appear on the R&V web site soon.

For the FATG's there are hundreds of JD tractors at Mt Pleasant as they are the feature tractor this year, and my son Chris stopped count at 60 steam traction engines as well as many other tractors. I will photograph as much as I can.

I went to the VanDervoort crypt on Monday in Moline, IL where William and his wife are placed, an absolutely wonderful place and as pristine as it was built in 1916. The VanDervoort family have their own room where also Orlando Root and his wife are placed. Photos soon.
This part of the trip and Mt Pleasant is what I came for and if nothing else was well worth the trip and expense.
Today once back at Mt Pleasant I started meeting many R&V Register member, some for the first time.
Hope to catch some LIST guys over the next few days, I know Curt Andree and Joe Prindle are coming.

More soon.

Regards
