Jerry,
If atmosphere is 14.7psi then multiplying by 19.1 ratio would yield 278.77psi.
Or maybe I'm so far in left field that the ball game is in the next town?

It's Friday afternoon here and this ole brain refuses to work this
problem out :-)

I want to do a compression test on a small aircooled Chinese
Diesel engine and need to modify a normal auto tester to do this.

Here are the details that I have:
         i) Compression ratio is 19:1
         ii)Bore×stroke [mm] - 86×70
         ii)Displacement[Lit]  - 0.406
         iii)Rated power/speed(kW/r/min) 5.7/3000  6.3/3600 (not necessary
for the calculation but included for interest sake)
