Hi,
I can't tell you more then the web about CPVC. Just that my
experience is with CPVC and we have never had problems with it. Trust
me we really would rather put in Black Pipe. (Not Galvanized!!) but
if you are on a budget CPVC is the way. I never tried Pex but it
looks like its ok. I am not up on the modern water pipe but Pex is
the stuff that comes on rolls? If so I would think it would not be as
nice to work with as far as keeping it straight. We do not want
bellys in the lines to gather water. CPVC stick is easier to put up
and keep straight with support. If I were not putting up black pipe
it would be CPVC.
I do like the thought of copper and polishing it up. GRINNN Just
too expensive. I know a fellow engine collector from New Jersy that
when he discovered the exposed water pipes in his houses crawl space
basement was copper he polished it all. Sure was perdy. Yah gotta
understand this fellow he is a clean, neat and tidy freak. As well as
being a details fellow. TTYL, Mark
