Beside the ball,  that blows UP against the seat, and is retained by a wire 
pin, you need a vent tube from the drip sight area to above the oil level in 
the main oil chamber.
An easier way is to put a vent pipe into the tube down to the cylinder and 
bring it to above the  hopper water level. Any oil spray will help stop rust 
in the hopper.
