[SEL] Brass plate repair

Joe:

Since there is a "3" now in the bore blank, I suppose I
could make it 3 cm or 1.181102". That's more in my range of
building. I'll simply save the tag until I decide to design
an engine with a 3 cm bore. Thank you for your helpful
suggestion. :-)

Wow! Hoyt-Clagwell & Company will be right with the times
...... METRIC!

Take care - Elden

Your 2.5 inch bore is 6.35 cm, can you just go metric on
your tag?

Why not sand off the numbers on a tape measure and print in
new ones?
If someone says "that's not 3 inches" hand them the tape and
tell them
to check it out.

PS, Having been a bit "short" all my live I've learned to
overcome
these "little" difficulties!
