[SEL] Brass plate repair

Why not sand off the numbers on a tape measure and print in new ones?  
If someone says "that's not 3 inches" hand them the tape and tell them  
to check it out.

PS, Having been a bit "short" all my live I've learned to overcome  
these "little" difficulties!
