I put a dab of anti-size on the part of the nut that touches the aluminum wheel to prevent scoring as well as making them easier to get off. A little oil on the threads keeps the rust away. (My Ranger says 90 to 120 lbs - pretty wide range.) Paul - many years near the ocean in SanFran
