Joe,

Impact wrench is fine for undoing lug nuts and just snugging them up.  But you should really use a torque wrench to finish tightening them to make sure all are tightened to the same amount.

A little oil or anti-seize isn't a bad idea when installing as it makes them easier to get your nuts off at a later date.  (worded for Dave's benefit)

For you present problem, if the impact wrench doesn't have enough power to break them loose, your next option is a big breaker bar and socket with a pipe to extend the handle for more leverage.

Hi Guys,
I'm having a problem with removing the lug nuts on my '95 Buick.
The wheels are aluminum and I try not to install the nuts too tight with my CP impact gun.
But - Once on, I can't get enough pressure to remove the nuts.  
Does anyone have an idea to make the nuts easier to remove.?  
Oil? 
Anti-Sieze?
