Hi List members,
We've been through this all before. There is a "scammer" in our
midst again! We went through this a year or so back (and for a few years
prior to that as well).

This scammer's "Modus Operandi" (sp.) is always the same - he's
being doing it for a good number of years now. This scammer "hijacks" a
list members e-mail address (usually a chap whose initials are "A.F" -
actual name and address withheld to protect the innocent!).

He makes promises that he (or his accomplice in Britain) is
finally "writing" a page which promises to "update" the "Lorenz & Benz
engine registry" (a non -existent webpage).

In fact all he is doing is gathering your personal information
(and address) to enable his henchmen to "uplift" your Lorenz or Benz engine.

You are urged to ignore his (forged) e-mails. It's just a "scam"
and, if you do reply, then do not say that you weren't warned when your
"Lorenz or Benz" engine mysteriously disappears when you least expect it.

There are other list members who are also aware of this "scam" and
I'm sure that they will respond to my warning!

Keep the revs up (or down)
