[SEL] O/T Briggs and stratton help needed

Sounds like a classic bad Magnetron coil to me.  When it dies, pull the plug wire and check for spark.

Hi all , I have a six year old lawnmower with a 6.75 hp B&S on it. It runs fine for about 5 minutes and then has no fire and quits. Let it cool off and it will start and run  till it gets hot again. Could this be anything other than the coil heating up and going bad? Thanks for the help, I'd rather be working on my big engines . Steve
