[SEL] OT: Daydreaming

I would buy the old William Tod plant in Youngstown and move the Tod Engine
back to its birthplace. Pour a massive concrete foundation, set it up to
run and plumb into the high pressure steam mains in the city and run the
engine at full rated RPMs.

I've already had that daydream!

Lying in bed for nearly 3 days give you a lot of time to think, and
sometimes daydream, in between trips to the 'small room'.

It occurred to me that if someone, one of us, had a sudden windfall,
that made them comfortably well off, what project would they think of
doing?

I assume that family and friends are taken care of, and you have a
year and a million dollars to spend (could be more or less)

Thinking back to our trip to Phoenix last year, ( sorry, it was 2007!
) I was very much taken by the B-25 Mitchells at Falcon Field, and I
thought that I'd like to take time out, buy an aircraft, see it
restored properly, and then get my pilot's licence while over there.
Probably take more than a million dollars, more like a million pounds,
but with the Euromillions Lottery producing £11 million jackpot prizes
each week, with a recent world record £108 million jackpot, you never
know, and it passes an otherwise pretty miserable time.
