No Peter,
         I think you have it wrong there! The same thing happens to me and 
even did when I was much younger!
         The frustrating part is that it usually only happens with tools or 
parts of which you only have "1 in stock". These characters often "return" 
it straight after I've driven 20 miles and back to buy a replacement :-)
