Hi All,
         Further to my earlier post.
         A) I got back in 1 piece (Not that I ever doubted :-) !!)

What a great experience - this is really a beautiful aeroplane.
I flew in her in 2005 as well but that is so long ago that I'd
forgotten how beautiful she was.
         Re the aircraft.
Changes to my earlier post (and thanks for the replies). She is a
1947 (not 1946 as mentioned earlier) SAAB Safir 91C trainer
(military/civilian) originally used by the "Ethiopian (sp.)Imperial Air
Force" (Thats those skinny black dudes who smoke grass and listen to Bob
Marley music :-)). Her No. in Ethiopia was 141

Her call signal is "ZU-DES" and a Google for ("SAAB Safir"
"ZU-DES") will get lots of results.

Her original Lycoming engine is now obsolete and she was refitted
with a Continental engine. (I'm not sure of the specs.).

         I've put some pics here:

         Please look at them.

Keep the revs up (or down)
