Everyone having problems opening attachments within email following an 
upgrade to IE8:

http://support.microsoft.com/kb/957700

This problem is with anyone using a Windows Mail program (Outlook 
Express, Outlook, Mail etc) and occurs when you download IE8 - whether 
or not you actually USE IE8.  Once IE8 is on your system, you can't open 
email attachments.

If anyone has any further problems, contact me off-list to avoid 
offending anyone with the amount of off-topic emails.
