Brake hoses can make crazy things happen. The hoses may look fine on the outside, but the inside breaks down over time and can clog up and cause the truck to pull one way or another or cause the caliper to lock up. I just got done replacing both front hoses on my old beater 1980 Chevy pickup a few days ago actually. The driver side caliper kept locking up and I figured it needed a new caliper. But the caliper let loose when I cracked the bleeder open... Clogged hose wasn't letting the pressure out after I let off the brake.
