"Early" Maytag Twin Cylinder engines with X



Heres a question for ya'll. Have any of you noticed or have you got 
any twin Maytag engines with early serial numbers, numbers in the 
810000-810100 range that has an X after the number. Not to be 
confused with the post war engines with serial numbers starting at 
100000X and extending to 205427X . Been casually tracking these 
810000 engines for years. I know of three so far. Anyone else got 
one? Its thought that maybe there were 100 engines so marked. Does 
anyone have engines in the same serial number range 810000-810100
