I agree completely with you George. I could see it if they were trying to do it with another Stanley Steamer, which I believe was the car that did it originally.

It will be a sad day when the record is broken.

Some records are better off left alone out of respect for what they accomplished over 100 years ago.

Beating a 100 year old record with modern technology isn't something I enjoy.
