[SEL] Foundry Question

I have no experience with foundries, but I have had to muffle air
compressors. The sound barrier would be the method I would try; just like
airports and freeways that have a block wall to deflect sound up. Using foam
or other 'sound absorbing' methods probably won't help much, if any.
There should be some information on the web about sound transmission in the
air on the net.
