Yeah Rob, we've learned that ATF is very effective against corrosion and
linseed oil is a great preservative.  Dave's got a double plus though.
Alcohol is also a good preservative.  I'd bet Dave's "innerds" are as
good as new!

Hey, Tommy.  Dave does a daily rubdown with linseed oil
and ATF to achieve his weathered, but well-kept patina.
